Sunil Patel is a freelance journalist. He worked as Metropolitan Police Community Support Officer in London for four years. He then went on to do activist week in the occupied territories of Palestine and volunteered in Syrian Refugee camps in Kurdistan. He then made his way into Syria during the civil war and published his first article about the conflict on Vice. com.
